Due to the weather and the affects of mother nature on our grass in the Meadow, we only book the Meadow from the third weekend of October through the end of April. You can see what dates we currently have available here!
-
Rental of The Meadow is a “Rain or Shine” event. In the case of inclement weather, if one of our other venues (The Farmhouse or The Big Red Barn) are not booked, then all activities can be moved inside one of the open venues (The Farmhouse for guest counts of 150 or less, the Big Red Barn for guests counts of 200 or less). If neither of our other venues are available, tents may be available at an additional cost.

We hope that you will find them beautiful without any extra work!
Loose fake (silk, paper, etc.) flower petals/leaves (like what the flower girl throws), glitter, and confetti are also prohibited.

That is a great question! In general, we believe the average budget of a couple getting married at Schnepf Farms is between $12,000-$17,000 for all wedding expenses required by Schnepf Farms (venue, catering, bar/beverage).
We have had some creative couples with smaller guest lists host beautiful weddings in the $9,000 - $12,000 range, and we have had several lovely events here spending significantly less and more than the average. That is the ultimate flexibility of Schnepf Farms, you can budget whatever you wish!
-
We do have different pricing for a ceremony only or reception only, please inquire directly for that special pricing.
-
Schnepf Farms accepts checks, cash or credit/debit cards as form of payment.

For the safety of all children (we are a working farm!), Schnepf Farms requires all children 12 and under be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Music and wedding festivities must conclude by midnight to ensure that you, all of your items, and all of your vendors are off-property by 1:00am.
-
We suggest starting your ceremony 90 minutes prior to your wedding day’s sunset time. This allows 30 minutes for ceremony and an hour for photos before the sun goes down with about 15 minutes of wiggle room. On a Monday - Friday wedding day we also recommend listing your ceremony time 15 minutes earlier on your invitations to allow for latecomers in traffic.
-
